Everything about Stapler Circumcision

Everything about Stapler Circumcision

Many circumcision decisions are made based on personal, cultural or religious reasons. Although circumcision is not mandatory for medical reasons, it has many benefits. The practice of circumcision gained popularity worldwide due to its ability to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases like human papillary and genital ulcer disease. It is also known that circumcision can improve penile hygiene. Consult with the best ZSR Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Azhar Alam.

Common Signs

The redundant foreskin of a male is removed during male circumcision. The glans are exposed.

  • Phimosis is a condition in which the foreskin cannot be pulled back from the tip of your penis.
  • Paraphimosis is a condition in which the foreskin cannot be pulled back, but can’t be moved into its normal position. This could require immediate medical attention.
  • Balanitis-A common condition that affects between 3-11% and 3% of men of any age, glans penis inflammation is also known as balanitis.
  • Penile yeast infections – The penile foreskin can become infected with multiple fungal infections.
  • UTI – Recurrent infections of the urinary tract due to unhygienic or abnormal conditions.
  • Trauma – Foreskin injuries such as Zipper injuries or foreskin tears may require a circumcision in order to prevent adhesion and scarring.

Treatments

Consider circumcision for men if you want to prevent sexually transmitted diseases and penile cancer.

Conventional circumcision: is the most common procedure used by urologists to treat the above-mentioned penile conditions. WHO recommends three methods of conventional circumcision. These are the dorsal, forceps-guided and sleeve/resection methods. Men who have conventional circumcision are still susceptible to complications like bleeding, oedema and prolonged recovery times.

A new method was needed for the urgent HIV infection in Africa. It had to be safe, effective, quick, easy to learn, and also easy to use even for those with less surgical training. This device is made from metal clips and silicone rings. Adult MC can be done quickly, safely, and efficiently even for those with less surgical experience. However, it has its limitations.

Stapler circumcision: is an alternative device technique, was originally developed by ZSR Biomedicals in China. It is now being used worldwide. ZSR Circumcision, a specialized circumcision technique, uses a surgical stapler instead of traditional sutures to cut and seal the skin edges. Conventional circumcision requires that the surgeon first cuts the skin with a knife, then stitches it. ZSR circumcision technology uses staples to stitch the skin.

The circumcision stapler can be used once. Disposable circumcision staplers are a single-use, sterile, hand-held surgical instrument that is preloaded with nonbioabsorbable skin staples. It can be used to cut the foreskin, and to apply a circle row (or more) of staples close to the cut line. The stapler section typically includes a dome that is to be placed under the foreskin, over the glans penis, and a circular cutting stapler mechanism equipped with a manual lever to connect to the outside of your foreskin.

Steplar Circumcision

Based on clinical experience and literature, it appears that the stapler is superior to the Shang Ring.

  • The stapler is used to cut the foreskin completely, which reduces pain. Patients who have their Shang Ring circumcised experience pain for seven to sixteen days after the procedure. According to patient reports, postoperative pain can be severe during spontaneous or nocturnal sexual activity.
  • Patients who have undergone stapler circumcision experience a shorter healing time. Patients treated with the Shang Ring have their foreskin removed by necrosis, which results in a relatively ischemic edge. It takes longer to rebuild the local blood circulation in order for wound healing after the ring is removed.
  • Patients who have their wounds trimmed with staplers experience less dehiscence. Patients who are treated with the Shang Ring are more likely to have wound dissidence. This is usually caused by spontaneous or nocturnal sexual erection.

These are the usual steps for stapler circumcision:

  1. ZSR Circumcision under anesthesia – ZSR Depending on the medical condition of the patient, the procedure can be performed either under general, local or regional anesthesia.
  2. ZSR Surgery Time – The procedure takes 30 minutes. The procedure is done in daycare.

Staper circumcision is expected to lead to a recovery:

  • Stapler Circumcision can take up to 3 weeks for the patient to fully recover.
  • For the first 24 hours, you only need to rest minimally.
  • After 48 hours, the dressing (bandage) can be changed. It is easy to change your dressing at home.
  • ZSR Circumcision causes minimal discomfort.
  • There are no restrictions on office work, except for strenuous exercise.
  • Patients are asked to refrain from masturbation or sexual intercourse during the 3 week period following stapler Circumcision.

Stapler circumcision is more effective than other methods of circumcision.

  • Minimal tissue injury.
  • There are fewer complications after surgery.
  • Shorter operative time
  • Lower blood loss volume.
  • Safe and time-efficient male circumcision method.
  • You can expect a faster recovery in as little as 12 hours.
  • Beautiful cutting edge which enhances cosmetic appeal
  • This can be used on both children and adults.

Stapler circumcision Surgery has been reported to have fewer complications than traditional or Shang Ring, particularly in relation to severe oedema, and wound dehiscence. Stapler circumcision has many advantages, including a short operating time, minimal tissue injury, and no electrocautery. This method of circumcision has fewer complications, shorter operating time, lower blood loss volume and less postoperative complications than other options. Stapler circumcision can be performed by male circumcisions in a simple and comfortable way.
